Hi Clive, What ends of the gasket need sealing?   I make mine out of one piece, or, when needed , join the ends with a simple mitre configuation , like in a puzzle.      I just overlay the cork area.    So far, in years of use, no leaks except in the usual places.  As we all know, if it isn't leaking oil, then the sump is likely empty..... Lee,   I'm refering to the rear tips of the paper sump gasket, which must be carefully sealed below the cork gasket to avoid an oil leak into the bell housing.   This oil leak is often blamed on the lip seal but is quite different.   Clive
