Joe, or anybody know the number of flying B24 s left? I believe they were the most produced bomber of the war. At Willow run, they ran two shifts and produced a new B24 every hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Wow! B24s were nor as romantic as the B17 ( the 17 got the better Hollywood Movie treatment) but the B24 was probably the better plane and saw service in ever theater of the war ..
