Hi All, There are 93 TB's listed on the TTT database including ones not on the road, maybe just a chassis etc. I don't know where in the world all of these these cars are. TB0257 seems to be the earliest recorded but it appears that this is not on the road. I believe TB0251 exists in the UK but may have been sold on. Following on from a previous email - any TB owners interested in a meet up in 2019 please let myself or Mike Inglehearn know (if not already done so) and we will add you to what is, at the moment, quite a short list. Thoughts are a meeting in the UK at a location to suit most but obviously others may want to get something going elsewhere in the world.  I know 2019 is way off and who knows what we will all be doing then?! We thought a long lead in would hopefully help things to get a head of steam and give time to sort out a suitable venue.  Regards, Jeff Townsend   TB0489 From: Michael Leckstein MGLeckstein@monmouth.com> Sent: 19 October 2017 13:33 To: 'Mike Bartell'; 'Victor Savelli' Cc: 'Roger Furneaux'; 'jeffrey townsend'; mg-tabc@yahoogroups.com Subject: RE: [mg-tabc] TB's in 2019   In 2006 the New England MGT Register listed 34 TB s in the US and Canada and 4 outside North America.  These were  of course Register members at that time. No idea of other cars owned by nonmembers. Hope this helps.

Does anyone have an accurate reading as to how many MGTB's have actually found a home in the USA? We should try to get an accurate count.

hi Jeff - sounds like a good idea, although the big event to tag onto would be MGCC Silverstone (or wherever the club might have moved to). We could arrange for a section of the Register parking area to be TB only. Other Registers have organised runs into Silverstone, often from several starting points, but perhaps one would be enough due to lower numbers.

I could join in with TC0978, which has a cylinder head with casting date of May 1939, but I do have a TB chassis in the barn (available to anyone who wants to build a car for the event...)

Perhaps you could also express your opinion / suggestions as to what type of event you would prefer it should be such as

A stand alone event for the TB

Tagged on to another  T Type event

Tagged on to some other event

        A one day event

        A weekend event

        Any other suggestions

Some ideas of other events might be a Shuttleworth collection flying day, a wings and wheels event, a 40s weekend event, a classic car event or perhaps you can suggest some other event.

Once we have an idea of interest and the sort of event that would be preferred, we will look at what can be put together and if necessary what accommodation would be available for anyone wanting or needing it. Offers of assistance would also be appreciated.
