Let us end this MGA debate please. This is a TA, TB, TC list ! My first car at 14 was an MGA to restore as I did not have the money for a TA, TB, or TC. they are OK stock and perhaps silly like this one but some of us belong to this group to NOT talk about TD - MGB as that is not where our interst is. This was NOT meant to be unkind, just a friendly reminder. John TB owner and purist and damn proud of it !

But I would rather a XJ220..... And what about the Batmobile? Maybe I should change the word from "beautiful" to "cool". Is that more generic and less likely to cause hysteria amongst the faithful? Doug, I agree with your thoughts about beauty. I have a 59 Cadillac conv. along with two MG TC's. I think both are pretty "cool". Since we are MG T collectors on this list, I won"t say which cars I prefere to drive, although when I take 4 girls along with me wine tasting that might tip you off. I had an Arnholt MG drophead which went "Down under" a few years back, which I thought was a lot more interesting than the ordinary TD. It may have looked better to me than the TD but that is up to individual taste. I also have a Deven sports racer with a alloy BOP and Hilbourne Inj. which is very tastie, and you cannot drive it without shaking in you boots when you get out. (even more scarry than a TC with shot steering). I also had an Elva which was was very nice to look at, and it really Did go! There are thousand of sweet cars out there, lets be thankful that the T series MGs came out so close to perfect and try not to bash the brand X's.
