Ray, Looking at a couple of books I have shows that the J2, J3, F2, L1 and L2 all had engine turned dashes. I couldn't find a picture showing the dash of a J4 or an F1right now so I can't be sure about them. John Libbert Milford, OH J2 3118 TC 2138 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

John & Ray, Actually, J4 dashboards are like C-types - either body color or matte black painted aluminum. F1's and F3's (4seaters) are wooden. F2's are engine turned 1/8" aluminum. Same as J2 & L2. Virtually same body tubs - F2, J2, J3, L2. Burled sequioa dashboards on PAs/NAs; burled wallynut on PBs/NBs. The best in the world come from The Whitworth Shop, of course, as do T-Series dashboards. Paid political announcement there. Sorry. The MMM bodies did NOT have an inner fascia like T-series MGs. They're just hanging there. But neither the choke nor the starter were on the dash. tommm in Ohio just below freezing today... F2 L1 PB NB NB (soon from CA thanks to taterry & Tantau) TC 1275 Midget V8 1059

Tom, Thanks for the input. Are you trying to corner the market for MMM cars here in the USA or starting you own museum? I'm sure glad they're fairly close by. Maybe I'll have to make another visit sometime.
