Gas tank repair

Thanks to all who shared their advice on repairing a leaking gas tank.
My TA restoration is becoming more of a task than I anticipated, but
I've wanted one since University and can't think of a more rewarding
retirement project.
Regarding ages, I think my TA and I are the same age or within weeks of
each others birth.
