Well, Guys That was a nice exchange this week. Nice to see Badger is as querulous as ever. Oil seals on XPAGs are designed to leak. How do you think the Chassis would have lasted if not? They are a flimsy thing at best, and without all that oil , would have rusted away 30-40 years ago. Be thankful, keep the original scroll assembly, which works perfectly well if fitted properly, eh Chip? and the string front seal. That way the engine will breath properly and the chassis last another 100 years. I`m off on my hols for a week, driving my TB and rebuilding the engine in my racer TA/C. It will be nice to see what gems are waiting here when I get back. Let`s hope you are all feelling more charitable! Good-bye now. Paddy.
