Morgans had the bladders also.
In our TC and MGA when we reupholstered we used cut foam (a particularly
dense variety) to soothe the bottoming that had been the original seat after
years of wear and we also were probably heavier than the Original owners.
We just cut it to match the contour of the covering (which had springs and
straps and horsehair)
and then attached as before for a seat which is firm but resilient. . . No
more bottoming out
after a long drive. Any upholsterer can offer several thicknesses and
densities.
