The adventure continues.........There was (is) a strip if packing(?) between
the rear inner fenders and the frame. Does anyone on this great list know
what to use there? Thanks, Tom TC 2850, disassembled

Originally it was felt to collect water and insure rust would develop in
this area. I used an automotive caulking available at most automotive stores.

This stuff is strip-caulk, AKA dukseal, dum-dum, & others. At NAPA, it's
3M # is 08578, and is 60 one foot strips, 11 or 12 bucks @NAPA; Martin
Senour # is 4424. @ Eastwood, it's 3M Flexible Strip Caulk 20 yd
