Where may I find the correct tightening torque values in lbft for my TC? I
am missing a few pages in my service manual. The list in the TC gallery is
helpful but a few listings are not there: BC steering arm to 1st ball joint,
steering linkage arm to the stub axle (2 bolts).
I am sure they are listed somewhere obvious...just not obvious to me..
Thanks,
Dave

Re: MG TC Torque values
I don't recall any official torque values for a lot of things, these among
them.
Probably "tight" but do not enter into a contest of strength with the bolt.
There is a LOT of stuff on cars without official torque values. I know you
are trying to be exact, but "tight" works on most things, and is how the car
was built......
And no, not on heads, etc.....

Re: MG TC Torque values
Hi,
My workshop manual says
"reassemble all parts. When adjusting the slotted end
plug should be screwed up tightly and then released
half a turn and the split pin replaced"
There is no reference in any of my manuals or books on
TC's to totque values.
Hope this has been some help
