As a matter of interest I have recently fitted Roger's hubs complete with the new tapered halfshafts and the new l/h and r/h nuts with the built in neoprene seal and at the same time replaced the hub/axle seals and the bearings for the sealed for life type. I left in situ the brass scrolled bushes. The hexagon nut and seal is most certainly a better bet than the old castellated nut and scrolled bushes. Whilst time will tell, I am sure that the rear brakes will remain dry for many a mile. If you do purchase new halfshafts from whatever source, I suggest that you examine the tops of the new splines at the diff. end and check for minor burrs before you insert them through the built in neoprene seals in the hex nuts prior to engaging the splines in the diff. I carefully filed the burrs off with a small smooth file as they possibly would have damaged the new seals . Other than that, I am happy with the quality of the parts used.
