Dear Peter;
I also have the glass tube but Dean has suggested my placement might cause
problems with the seriously hot weather. I will report back if it starts to
kick up on me.

Re: Fuel Vapor lock
Tom
I mounted my fuel filter in exactly the same place you suggested that
Banjo try. It's been there for over three Mississippi summers and has
never caused a problem with vapor lock. Since it's just taking the
place of a short piece of copper pipe, still horizontal along the frame,
I don't see how it could cause any problems.
Best,
Gene

Re: Fuel Vapor lock
Thanks Gene;
I was thinking I screwed up the copper tubing.
I get an immediate reaction of fuel starvation when I forget to check under
the near side and see how much trash can be seen inside the glass tube.
It takes less than 10 minutes to clean out the filter. So far I have not had
a vapor lock problem, but we have not hit the 90 degree heat level.
The trash looks like rust but it is just plain
dirt. I thnk the MG angel watches over all of us and gets us back home.
