Hi Mark, Good to hear from you. Read about your fall GOF undertaking and was envious. It's going to be a while before I have enough confidence in 7794 and my roadside breakdown abilities. The trip back from St. Louis with 7794 behind the Toyota PU was exciting. We skirted a tornado in Ohio and lost a trailer spring in Springfield, but at least we got to experience Springfield! Dave Raymond's ex horse-trailer got the job done and I am eternally grateful. After unloading, we took 7794 to Harriseeket Lunch and Lobster for a ceremonial showing off! Our longest trip this past summer was to Owl's Head Transportation Museum (top speed 66 mph). A few problems became apparent. The tach loosened from the vibration of out of balance wheels and engine oil homorrhaged from a tappet cover gasket. I have a lot to learn about Earl's TC! I have enjoyed your letters to the group regarding your radiator challenges and your investigations into paint formulations. I was disappointed that you were delayed in Kansas City last summer. We were loaded to the gills with 7794, MG parts and Old Speckled Hen looking forward to meeting you and 7812. Why don't you take your TC to Maine next summer! NY was just a trial run, right? Regards, Bob Brennan
