Re: Drop arm [1 Attachment]
Hi Graham, Your drop arm shown in photo is correct. Not bent and has the ball inserted correctly. However you will need to remove the drop arm ball to insert through the end of the drop arm end casing. Once the end assembly is complete then refit the taper into the drop arm. Yes, the drop arm needs to be exactly 90 degrees to the sector shaft. Because you cannot see the orientation of sector shaft inside the box, you can reference a line on bottom of shaft to show the 90 degree mark. New sector shafts do not have this and you will need to remove the box top. You also have the late version of drop arm so all you need to do is have it cracked checked and you should be good. If you need any further assistance, let me know. Best regards, Doug Pelton, ProprietorFrom The Frame Up480-588-8185For Fastest Service: order@fromtheframeup.comLike us on FACEBOOK! Dear All,
I have attached a photo of my drop arm.
Is it bent? Should the arm be at 90 degrees to the sector shaft?
Which way up should it be; ball up or ball down.
Many thanks for your help.
Graham
