Durango GoF update

7:30 MST, 21 June 2002 The fire Northeast of Durango, Colorado will not cause the GoF to be canceled. The town of Durango is not threatened by the fire and with the exception of parts of the tour, that was to be in the fire area, all of the meet venues are not threatened. The part of the tour affected will be rerouted. The Durango & Silverton RR is not running all the way to Silverton. We are told that the train will run as far as Hormosa. The roads into and out of Durango are open at this time. All of the MG related activities associated with the GoF remain in place and we look forward to having a fine GoF. See you in Durango.
