K&N Racing -Quality Lifetime Air Filter for the TC

Post by LuckyFloridaLin@aol.com » Mon Jun 03, 2002 11:20 am

Dear Lads and Lassies; Some of us have the coffee can air filter with a removable top. After much research I found a perfect filter insert suitable for installation. It is High-Flow filter used in racing and off road. Filter number is: RC-4340 Caveat: Check all dimensions in case of variability of ye olde coffe cans. The air filter is domed shaped, with a flat topped metal cap and the top is just below the rectangular air openings. For Simulation of Originality, the steel wool can be inserted on the top. The filter's rubber bottom fits perfectly over the intake lip of the Carb manifold and comes with a clamp for filter security I did have to wait awhile for K&N to put this filter into production but I believe they are now avalable. My thanks to K&N for putting this filter back into production. Try to take advantage of this mavelous filter that is so perfect for insuring the longevity of our XPAG engines Tally Ho!
