Many thanks to all those who made suggestions for moving a TF from NC to British Columbia. It seems that many people thought that flying to NC and then renting a 14' moving van would be the way to go. This turns out to be quite expensive and really only saves about 3 days in travel time. The air fare is probably equal to the fuel cost in driving out to NC and the cost of a one way truck rental is at least $1000. So, since I have a van and trailer, it is cheaper by about $1000 to use my time and equipment and it will only take about 3 days longer. ($1000 US or $1600 Cdn saved for 3 days driving is pretty good!)
If the car was together and driveable then the best option by far would be to hire a transporter to move the car. Unfortunately the TF is completely dismantled.
