ATTENTION TABC GROUP MEMBERS: I have just acquired TC XPAG 8046, a 1949 EXU . I had been after this car for 10 years and made the owner promise to sell me the car. He called me yesterday and told me to come get it. Unfortunately I already have picked up two other TC s in the last 10 years and nobody really needs three? Therefore I am offering this TC first to fellow list members. If no one is interested I ll try E-bay next. If that fails then I might consider something very repulsive and part-out this car. It would be a sad thing to do since this car is very complete and is a matching number car, with 99% rust free sheet metal and chassis. However I know there probably is a good demand for nice TC parts. E-mail off list for questions or more detailed description of the car. Brief description is as follows: Car partly dismantled and is still a rolling Chassis with engine/trans, driveshaft and rear axle in place. Front axle was rebushed and steering has Tompkins Kit. All shocks, brakes etc. still attached. Chassis very straight, no cracks and NOT rusty. Some original Black paint still shiny on chassis and rear axle. Sheetmetal straight and virtually rust free. Some bubbles in paint underneath windshield bracket. RH rocker slight rust hole where running board attaches. Engine ran nicely when parked. Turns over nice. Should not require rebuild. Engine # matches plate. New parts include: Complete leather interior kit with new seats, with leather factory-installed. Carpets, Side-curtains, Top, wiring harness, rubber, D-lamps, seat tracks, wood kit, walnut dash, windshield glass, hoses, clamps, brake lines, hinges, chrome seat hardware, side-curtain chrome, windshield mirror, rubber bushing kit, map lights, All gauges professionally restored, and more Nearly all chrome replated including the Grill shell, bezel, windshield, 8 cats-eye headlamps, 5 knock-offs, wiper arm. Missing items: No fog light body, just the lens , however EXU had no fog light fitted. The EXU bumpers missing but have the front brackets. Car was Clipper blue/tan interior.
