Suffering from bullshit overload perhaps??!! Here is an antidote: Following on from some recent sentiments expressed by Badger, here is a quote from "Wheels to Fortune, the Life & Times of Lord Nuffield" by James Leasor, in the chapter headed Safety Fast! : "The initials MG stand officially for Morris Garages, but they also represent, like some algebraic symbol, an immeasurable amount of pleasure and happiness given. MG Midgets occupy such a unique position in the affections of sporting motorists for a variety of reasons; not least their size and saucy appearance, and also because for many enthusiasts they are their first motoring loves, and thus no car that comes after can ever equal them." Despite C.K.s insistence in all his writings, this book did not put "dots" in MG, and of course all Midgets are referred to, from the M-type up to the TF (the book came out in 1954). Happy MotorinG! TCRoger (in England, where it is raining, again, and even the garage does not seem so inviting, but it does not have sofas, a hi-fi, or a min-bar...)
Rolland, We're all over at Badger's having a virtual beer. Actually, I was taking advantage of an early Spring day to fire up the TC. I have had years of great start-ups using gas stabilisers. Any other users out there? Michael DeRentz
