Re: Distributor Drive Gear hi folks - here is a plea to all you TA owners out there: One of our MGCC T-Register members of many years standing who has not got internet access, has found that his TA distributor drive gear is damaged, and will prevent him from using the car again until he finds a replacement. He has tried all the usual suspects here in England, so I said I would ask the listers. There must be at least one of you out there with a spare engine under the bench "just in case" who could sell or lend a gear. It is p/n MG706/211 and I think has 11 teeth, the XPAG uses p/n MG862/230 with 10 teeth, they are otherwise very similar. I could not find them in a Lucas list, they were possibly unique to M.G. but we will try the classic car electrical spares dealers. In the event that one is not forthcoming, I could have some made, so then the question becomes: would any TA owners order one to have on the shelf, "just in case"? ocTagonally TCRoger
