What "MG" stands for...

Post by RonMGTC@aol.com » Sun Dec 23, 2001 3:32 am

With all respect to Jean Kimber.... I'm not sure if I would rely on her opinion any more than I would expect my son to speak for me when I am gone. Not that he wouldn't have insight mind you, but to rely on his word as Gospel ... well, that's something that I wouldn't do with my son or Jean Kimber. This crops up in every aspect of the hobby, the assumption that an offspring knows the motivation behind the fathers (or mothers) ideas that usually happened before they were born. Just something to think about, not interested in provoking an argument or disrespecting anyone. I am sure that Jean Kimber believes that MG stands for "MG" only, but belief in something and actual fact are sometimes two very different things. Regards, Ron

I was told that "MG" stands for "Mostly Geezeers" in reference to the owners/drivers! Merry Christmas to all, Bob McClaren (Older than his car) 1947 TC #3443
