The "trick" is nonsense. The MS Outlook address book, like all other WindBlows list files is maintained in "first in" random order and only displayed to the user in alphabetical order. When an address is added, it is merely appended to the list. Moreover, receipt of notice from postmaster that mail is undeliverable can take from minutes to hours, in the interim, the worm can work its way through a very large address book.
People who get and complain about viruses are cursing the darkness instead of lighting a candle. To them I say; get Norton or McAfee antivirus software and keep it updated or alternatively, never launch your email program.
