Gene I thought stores that sold mirrors could provide such a service, but also I thought new mirror glass was available, perhaps Abingdon spares has NOS. Joe

Gene, Extraordinary! I've been procrastinating over exactly this for weeks now. I foolishly sent my own mirror to a local so-called re-silvering shop. What a disaster! It is now mottled several shades of brown and the edge is chipped. Naturally I refuse to make this idiot re-do the thing. Good luck, David Lodge Gene Wescott wrote:

If we are talking about the standard Lucas 160 mirror commonly found on TC's, you can buy replacements from Paul Beck and its much cheaper: http://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/cgi-bin/search.plx?find=Rear+View+Mirror&subm it=Search 11.00 UKP Terry
