Re: [mg-tabc] choke return springs, TSO index Hi Sally - first point is that if your choke is tight, it is possibly the SU jets getting seized up in the cork sealing washers. Try dismantling and polishing the brass for a nice sliding fit. It could be a problem with the cable, but you need to fix the causes before wacking on stronger springs. As to the TSO index, Hal Kramer did all the early issues a while back, and published annual updates, but nothing has appeared for several years. Some while back, when I took on the job of Tech. Sec. for the M.G.C.C. T-Register, I compiled an index of all the old Register Bulletins & Newsletters, then extended it to Safety Fast, "TCs Forever", and finally TSO. As you can imagine, this is a mammoth task, and only something I spend time on in the winter months! So far the database has 1800 entries, and I am nearly up to date on TSO. Then there is the Octagon Club Bulletin, but they have done their own index. Copyright is always an issue, and things would have to be cleared with the N.E.M.G.T.R. (at one stage they were going to put ALL the copy on a CD ROM, as Nat. Geographic have done, but the project fell through) but otherwise there is no reason it could not be available on our Website or as a floppy disc. It is all compiled on a dBase-like database running DOS on my trusty old 486, which is therefore virus and crash-free, but I'm sure there are clever folk who could transfer it to a CD running under Windows... oc[b]T[/b]agonally TCRoger TC0978 TC2365 Sally Carroll wrote:
