Geoff, My TC pulled to the right when breaking for a couple years. I cleaned and inspected everything numerous times, and replaced the cylinder parts and hoses at least twice...very frustrating. Finally, one day I decided to look over all the parts with a magnifying glass. I found the front shoe had a couple of it's welds broken near the top perhaps allowing the lining to be pulled more into the drum. I could move it by hand. The shoes were re-lined and repaired but not replaced in same order. I should have fixed that one shoe and tried it on the car but didn't. The violent pulling to the right was gone, but a lesser pulling to the left took up residence. I had bronze sleeved the cylinders myself years ago and eventually (getting out the magnifier again) found that I had only given that cylinder .001" clearance and .003" is industry standard according to my "British Automobile Engineers Reference" 1955). Actually, I had made them all too tight not knowing any better at the time. Now The TC stops straight. Hope this helps. Bill Traill DCO: TC #5221
