Dating help please
Hi Gang! Any possibility of someone coming up with the date my TA left the works? Chassis No. TA0806. Enclosed is a photo of the car taken during the war years (o/s headlight blacked out). Can anyone identify the type of headlights on the car? They don't look very TA - the Concourse boys would not approve. Also a picture of how she looks now Pity they were not on the car when I bought it. Hope the pictures don't take too long to download! Kind Regards

Clive,
Somewhere along the way to restoring TA 2060 I figured that it was
produced about the third week of January 1938. Do you have information
that might confirm this?
Many thanks for any comments.

the MG Car Club in England have all the mgf dates for the cars built at
Abingdon.
They will photo copy the page with the exact date of your car and mail them
to you.
there is a slight charge for copy & mailing. I had the info for about 6
cars and the cost was 11 pounds. My J2 had 16 pages
which included all registration etc. That is available on most all MMM
cars. ( That info was not lost).
the email address is mgcc@mgcc.co.uk
