[t-abc] S.S.Badger

Post by mrbadger » Fri May 25, 2001 5:24 pm

I feel obligated to lodge a complaint regarding a "ferry" being named Badger. I would like it known that I am not that "way" regardless of the spelling. I would much rather see a destroyer named Badger or a battleship but not a fairy boat. Please. Straight Pride Badger

Hope the fact that the U.S.S. George E. Badger sunk a U-Boat on December 17, 1943 makes you feal better. Bob TC4946

Crystal Brenner wrote "........or prefers a pink engine........" It has been suggested by a wise and learn-ed colleague that, instead of 'pink', the color of the engine should more properly be referred to as .... 'a very light regency red', and henceforth, so shall it be. The Badger
