O'l Faithful

Badger, Consumed with curiosity, I clicked on your ebay address only to be informed that Item Numer 57912388 is invalid or is no longer offered or some such. Does this mean that we have had second thoughts and chickened out or is just that you don't want us to see the pink engine block and leopard skin seats? You've spoilt my day! Rgds Viv.

Nothing of the sort Viv. In the item number you quote above, a "5" seems to have been left off the end. Here is the link again. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=579123885 Enjoy. Badger

Now I've seen it and I must say that the body lines are really good. A TC must not droop. This one doesn't. I like the Persians and the bonnet louvres. Can't say the Aston wheel appeals but who am I to talk because this one is not on the end of a Datsun column! The pink engine is a bit of a disapointment but I suppose one can't have everything. If I did not already have 2 TCs I would bid but enough is enough and I've now discovered that I'm older than you and I had my first TC 3 years before you did. Good luck with the price but are you sure you can let the old girl go - 40 years is a long time? Rgds Viv

It's a very subtle sort of pink. No garish "hot pink" for me.

Do you have a male and a female?
> Oh, come on Viv. Just one more. "You can never have too many TCs" (old Anglo saying).
"Thou shalt have at least three TCs" (little known 11th commandment).

Not selling the wife Viv, just the car.
> I thought about it for a year before deciding. In my mind, she's already gone. (The car, not the wife).
