I forwarded the Fuelstar cite to a friend of mine who was in charge of fuel system design for Ford (including Jaguar and Aston Martin) before he retired and went on to work for Roush Industries. I thought I would share his assessment. Ken Enborg 1936 TA Ken,
I got to review many of these amazing devices when I served as chairperson of one of Ford's patent review committees. This one is a little different as usually they had magical claims for magnets lining up the ions in the inorganic gasoline (I think there is a contradiction of terms there). This device along with its magnets jiggles tin into the fuel. Apparently the idea is that the tin is like tetraethyl lead and delays combustion without any of the 'bad' side effects of contaminating catalysts. However, I would place this in the category of wishful thinking, witchcraft, or as our file was called 'cow magnets'. If his little shaker of .3 - .5 micron tin, magnets and impeller did function it would plug injectors or carburetors before long and it would run out of tin.
Cheers,
Tom Wernholm - Roush Industries

Dear Ken; Fascinating I too wonder if it is hype or reality. Seem to
remember back in my younger some other similar hype. Sent them an Email for
further info. Tally Ho! Thom Collins
