starter question? any suggestions??

So glad to see the list is still alive!
I've had the same problem more than a few times on my '05, sometimes it would even cut out mid flight. This went on for years, sometimes 2 or more years between events.
Each time it was a bad connection with the wires underneath the seat.
First time I was able to find the connection (by luck) while trying to start the bike in a semi-dark garage with the seat off, and a spark appeared (like a light from above!).
Eventually rewired most of those connections under the seat. The stock seat may flex enough to press on the wires. Haven't had this problem with my '02 and a Corbin seat.

I have a little problem with an 09 KLR. Somehow the cooling fan got pushed against the radiator, and vibration has chaffed through the radiator. I lost all my coolant riding into Genoa, Italy. Shops open on Monday and I'm hoping it can be welded up, but just in case, is the radiator interchangeable with any other Kawasaki models? The KLR was not sold in Europe.
Other ideas?

How about JB Weld or something like that? Is it strong enough?
