Do you have any dates set for your trip? I can set you up with maps, trail descriptions and anything else you might want to know about Moab. Stop into my shop once you are here. If you are planning a trip here the first of June, be sure to attend our annual Dual Sport (KLR) rally. This is held each year the first weekend after Memorial weekend. This coming year the CMC will be June 3 - 6. http://www.angelfire.com/ut/moab/cmc.html Fred www.arrowheadmotorsports.com

Where are you coming from? Half the fun of visiting Moab is getting there and back! Bryan

changing the oil

Here is an article from Popular Mechanics describing oil change intervals on infrequently used engines. I like the article, because it is what I was doing already = the article agrees with me! a quote from the article:"What if you don t drive much and let your oil sit for six months?A year? I know a guy with a fleet of Ferraris, some of them seven- figure cars, and he goes only by mileage. That oil was in the ground for 100 million years, he says. What s six more months? enjoyhttps://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/car-technology/a24676402/old-motor-oil/ m1

Hello everyone, I am planning a trip to Moab this spring and was looking at renting a bike in Moab. It seems like not many places rent bikes anymore. What happened? A few shops in Salt Lake closed as well. Do you guys have any recommendations? I'm flying in from NYC. Dirt or dual sport is fine Thanks! -- David Z mobile: 646-267-1109 poisonpartyband.com

Hello David,   There are a few motorcycle rental places in Moab that I know of.  Check out the Moab Tour Company, High Point Hummer and Dual Sport Utah. http://www.moabtourcompany.com/site/rentals/motorcycle-rentals/ https://www.highpointhummer.com/utv-rentals/ http://www.dualsportutah.com/   You can also ask my friends at Davis Service Center in Montrose, Colorado about their rentals. https://www.davisservicecenter.com/   I think the demise of motorcycle rentals is mostly caused because of the current UTV or side by side craze that has swept the country.  The costs of motorcycle rentals at least in this part of the country are pretty expensive since it is easy to fall down here and damage expensive bike parts that need to be replaced.  You used to be able to rent a full sized Jeep less than what some motorcycles rentals are going for.   Good luck in your search and if you d like to grab dinner one evening, let me know.   Fred http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com   From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com">david zawadzki fordavidz@...
