Not sure, it was whqatever was available for the KLR in 2008, as previous owner changed it right after buying the bike new. It is a one piece for both positions, with wider but cheek support for the rider. Very comfortable (at least for my body)

 


piston failure on 2007

Five different KLR's through the years. '89 with 32K, '95 with 46K, '06 with 60k. Only major problem in years was a sheared cam sprocket pin on the '95. Now own 2, '07's. Mine cracked a piston last year at 21K +/-, now my wife's cracks a piston at 23K.
