parts needed for valve adjustments ?

Hi, Chris! Couldn t help notice your post is addressed to the DR650 list and the KLR650 group. For the Suzuki, since someone s pointed out it is a screw & locknut type adjustment, the only things you need are normal hand tools. No shims to buy. If you have a KLR, you will also need a inch pound torque wrench for the cam caps(go easy!!!) + an assortment of shims, too. You d also need something to clean the valve cover gasket area (brake cleaner & a lint-free rag?) plus some sealant for the corners of the cam plug parts of the gasket. -eddie

Airbox is soaked. Any chance the part no 14067-006 is a de facto PCV valve, or have the years of storage prior to my ownership shot the rings?
