All- I THINK I just uploaded the list of gen one parts the thieves let me keep.  Probably five minutes after I've sold the last of them I'll get a call from the cops, "We recovered your KLR".  But I can't hang on forever, and the right replacement hasn't come to me.  I bought a '99 DR350 that I have yet to ride.  Spring is here and that will change.
I have pix of the stuff.  Let me know if interested.

DR 350's are fun bikes, especially off road.

OK Jim, James, J-Where did you hide the wabbit?!?!?!? wink. If you loaded it as an attachment, I don't think it will show. You will have to do a cut and paste from your word doc as a 'reply' unless I am missing something.

Martin-  Go up and click Files, then look for "KLRforSale... gen one items."  It seemed like a 105-item list would take up a lot of screen space, especially for those members not interested.
"KLRforSale" is a little misleading, but then it clarifies with "gen one items."
See if that works for you.

Yes, I was having troubling learning on the KLR. Didn t help that I had 80% street tires and extra street gear on it. Someone s already beat the crap out of this DR350, so as along as it keeps running I don t have to worry about it falling over.

There must be a better way to organize photographs but just wanted to share the radiator screen fix done to our bike.  After going down couple weeks back the screen folded and prevented the front end from turning.  After seeing what caused the problem it could have been worse if we didn't have some zip ties to hold it away from the fender.  Was riding buddy up in a sand wash some ways from town.  Anyway, the fix was a piece of aluminum bar stock 1/16" X 1/2" and riveted to the screen.  Also sandwiched a piece of inner tube to make sure there wouldn't be any vibration and noise.  Looks pretty stout IMO.  That radiator is one expensive part and well worth protecting.  Monty
