Season's greetings to all! I have a red '07 KLR 650 and I am thinking about changing out the handlebar. I ride mostly on the asphalt. Almost every day. But I have knobbies on it and I do ride on dirt occasionally. Can any of you recommend a good/better/best replacement handlebar? Mine is a bit bent from some drops and at least one crash. I'd like something lighter, if possible, and not much different than stock, but aluminum would be my choice and maybe even red, if somebody makes one. What do y'all think? -- Robert P. Wichert P.Eng. I went with some ROX anti vibe 2 in extenders and an old set of DRZ 400 bars I had from years back Not sure of the exact bend on them but much straighter than the KLR OEMs for sure. More of a typical MX bend.  Really satisfied with the results even after a few thousand miles with them.

I also added Rox risers a few years later when I found a fair deal for a used pair. The 666 bars pretty much match the stock bars for bend, rise and pullback. I've been unable to bend them. Had Fred recommend the Pro Taper bars with ATV bend (I" higher) some years ago.  Like that the increased taper gives me options for positioning to my comfort. Todd On 12/9/2016 6:21 PM, RobertWichert robert@... [DSN_KLR650] wrote:
