If there are conditions and extra work required for me to do so, it's not worth doing. This information is simply shared so don't mind what anyone does, so long as they don't take credit/charge for it. I absolutely do not care about being given credit for combining information shared to me by others and/or that which I have identified. Do what you like, folks, but that's as far as it goes from my end.     ------ Original Message ------ From: "Martin Earl" To: "DSN KLR650" DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com>; christopher.eckert@...; "Norm Keller" Sent: 2016-11-07 3:21:30 PM Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] Re: KLR650 aftermarket and substitute parts list
Chris, May I suggest, Why not just ask Norm if it would be OK to just copy/add his file and add it to the archive. Everybody will be happy, happy, happy. revmaaatin.  who is spreading the KLR love.   On Mon, Nov 7, 2016 at 1:19 PM, christopher.eckert@... If you want to copy that stuff and put it in one in that site that you can add your stuff to that is fine but the list should be kept in the files section rather than on some other site. I like dropbox but this is DSN and I created the original list and put it there because it was information gained from and for this group.  I agree that Yahoo is a dated sight, that's an understatement actually, but it will be up to the list originators to move it and the content we created for it when they deem it necessary. When and if they do move this to an updated site file editing will be easier ---In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, wrote : I have added some items to the parts list: Fuel System

KLR250 (manual) petcock is a direct swap for the 650 & vice versa. 250 petcock is manual, 650 is vacuum operated. Both have the same fuel pickup tubes and filters. 250 fuel hose barb is 7 mm OD on the straight area beyond the barb rings. *NB: I have not been able to confirm that the KLR650 petcock will clear the external obstructions on the KLR250.

KLR650 fuel filler cap is a direct swap for the KLR250. The complete list is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ bbz7wi42uvwesl0/Parts%20List% 20After%20Market.doc?dl=0 It is also linked under the Files Tab on KLR650 Owners FaceBook group. The link is will a bunch of stuff in a document called:"Norm's Links". Any additions/clarifications/ confirmations/corrections are appreciated. *NB: There are a bunch of documents and folders listed in the Norm's Links which are updated & corrected without notice. If interested, it may be worth while to download new copies of anything wanted. *** NB: I recommend downloading copies for your own files as I may shut down my KLR involvement without notice which will mean that the link access will disappear.
