Then go back and read some of their own posts and barely resist the temptation to present an alternate case? I too have experienced workmanship done in varying degrees of success....Why, just the other day:There are moments, after I examine my own work, I have said exactly the same thing. (as you have eloquently quoted. grin)However, I have additional phrase that occasionally crosses my lips:"Somebody please, come get my tool box." Not real often, but often enough. It is OK if you say, 'yes rev, I resemble that remark' or tell the screen, A-men. It usually happens when I exhibit, a 'lack of recent' experience.why, just the other day, I was changing out the rear wheel with a spare wheel, (chasing a wheel imbalance problem) and when I got done, there is this greasy 'spacer' laying on the ground. sigh.No Virginia, 'sigh' is not what I actually said...first. In my fuzzy memory, I seem to recall the only person in the garage saying, 'Somebody, come and get my tool box.' Remove the wheel, install the cush drive spacer, reinstall the wheel...It was no foul, no harm, but I was disappointed it happened. Keeping a tidy work area is a great way to keep this from being catastrophic; after the installation, (but prior to installing the brake, I looked around at my cardboard drop zone, and spy the spacer. Another common mistake I watch for is torque wrench setting.I will try to get as much light on the Vernier as possible, using a magnifying glass if necessary, andI have another (competent) person verify the setting, if they are available. Having said all that, if you (the consumer/customer) are having paid maintenance done to your motorbike, car, bicycle, etc. take a moment and verify as much as possible, the work was done according to acceptable, maintenance practices.ie, if I am unable to do my own oil change, I check the level before ever leaving the parking lot. Humans are doing the work, and humans make mistakes by omission as well as commission. How do I know?I just looked in the mirror.revmaaatin.

For $90. USA I would want to Modify (FARKEL) it. Already have 3-4 things I would change. Hmmmm OR, Maybe Make what I have had in my head (& scratch pad) for the last 15 -20 years.I just don't have access to Lathes etc anymore.)
