tank bag choices? (nklr)

Post by sh8knj8kster » Sat Nov 28, 2015 5:20 am

I'll 2nd Wolfman tank bags...I bought the Rainier about a year ago to fit on my 93' R100GSPD I picked up around the same time, for a road trip I did riding to Naples Fla. for an ABC tech event MLK weekend 2015, then went down to Key West (sample some refresco) for a few days.  No real off road work that trip unless you want to count in a 1/4 mile I did off Card Sound road to get far enough off the road to piss w/o being seen by anyone that was heading to or from Alabama Jacks=:-)...didn't realize I left on that trip with what I thought was a urinary tract infection, plugging in my symptoms on webmd but later found out I had Prostitis after seeing a Urologist, only after visiting a clinic Dr. back home and he couldn't figure it out, anywho, by the time I was leaving the upper Keys, I had to piss just about behind every other bush w/major kock burning going on while pissing... I did hit some rain on that trip rolling through alligator alley, but not enough rain to test the bag's long term waterproof effectiveness.  I'll say this, it's not an inexpensive tank bag but I've always felt you get what you pay for (in respect to motorcycle luggage).  It's very well made, tons of storage, expandable, easy on and off with 4 synthetic type clips.  PO musta had the same bag as there was a tank bag mounting rig he left on the bike which matched perfectly with the mounting rig included with the Rainier...nylon straps with the clips up around the steer stem and another one around the backside of the fuel tank where the seat meets
