Back in the day when we used lead in our fuels you could check your fuel mixture by the deposit colors on the sparkplug. Today since we don t use lead any more, it is next to impossible to check mixture this way. There are better ways to check mixture by the way your machine drives and takes throttle. I never rejetted and the bike ran great. Then it got stolen.. I purchased a 06 Yamaha xt225 and want to do the same mod. Its called the M mod https://www.procycle.us/info/questions/xt225/engine.html My question is- Do I really need to rejet the bike or it can run on stock? Any ideas?
