Thanks for the heads up on this Fred. Actually , mine is a couple 1/4 inch plates with a center cut out and bolts on the outside. If that don't work, I'll build something else. Anything I find worn on the linkage bearing, I'll for sure give you a call. They did look good when I pulled all apart at 24,000 miles. 

I sold my KLR but found a new oil filter in my garage. Any member in the Dade City/Brooksville/Zephyhills/Crystal River area is welcome to it. Also found an airhead oil filter. From my R65 but will fit most all of them.
