He recently went from BC West Coast to Southern California, across Southern Texas to Florida, back to to Texas. They found it too cool in Texas so to Arizona, too cool so back to Southern California then back to BC. I think his assessment and sample size of fuel mileage is fairly solid? He found that advancing the exhaust cam dropped his mileage which went back up. The only one I've known so now yours is two. Maybe variations in manufacture? Interesting and something I want to follow.

Did it two weeks ago with a KLR650. it is imperative that the wheel is vertical to the bed, and perpendicular to the cab after the forks are compressed gootentite.Never had a problem; never blew a fork seal; never had a bike jump out of the truck using these parameters. I did, however, nearly drive a CB450 through the back window while riding it into the truck bed; sticky throttle. THAT I don't recommend. m.
