nklr- dim mazda 3 headlights

Does anyone know of a reliable source for aftermarket car headlights? My daughter complained about the lowbeams on her 2010 Mazda 3 being dim. They certainly are, compared to my 2000 Toyota Tacoma with Sylvania "Osram" aftermarket bulbs. Also, her left low beam (only the left) projects with a dark spot in the middle of the viewing area. Before I buy new oem bulbs that may not be any better, I'm hoping there's a better alternative.
Any tips appreciated- JW

OK, never mind, they're just wearing out.

JW-I see you answered your own request--but the FYI factor-I replaced badly hazed and pitted 'assembly' for my 98 Suburban through Autozone. @ about 1/2 price of OEM, and there was negligible difference in appearance. which would suggest, the AUTOZONE replacement was identical (IMO) except for the packaging.m1.'

Oregon Rider was critically injured when his soft luggage came loose, a reminder to folks like me that haul a lot of items when they travel... make sure eveyrthing is secure and get home safe.
