headlight modulator experience?

A little late to the party, but I will certainly recommend using a modulator.  I have one on most of my street bikes, including a KLR.  I have been through a couple of brands and have no hesitation recommending Kisan modulators - super simple installation and very reliable.  I was concerned that it might decrease the headlight life, but I have  not seen any effect, and some of the modulators have been in use for more than 10 years. You never know for sure, but they seem to make quite a difference in motorist's awareness.  The only time in recent years I have had a car pull out in front of me was when riding a bike without a modulator.
