Seen a guy using Square 5 Gallon Plastic Buckets (removable) instead of Pelican cases etc etc on the rear.
Water proof, Top loading, CHEAP!!!! CREATIVE!

I like my shorty levers. Anybody looking for an aftermarket opportunity, there ya go. Can't find shorties for the KLR, at least the A series. A good friend spent way too much time making them for me from regular aftermarket. Never try to weld cast aluminum

I may try to make some molds from these at some point.

Check a local laundromat.
They use bulk, powdered soap that comes in those things and the empties
might even be free!
The side benefit of everything you haul in them smelling "springtime fresh"
could be a bonus, too.
