Green are softer than black.  The greens are organic, black semi -metallic.From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: 8/ 19/ 2014 11:41 AM To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com; justsayizzy@...; nomad59@... Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] It's brake time again   Hey J. Per your advice, I started running Green & Like them, but I use on both FR & R. Why the Differance?? (Black on R.?)   My 1st guess, Black has less grip/grab, so less likely to lock-up and slide sideways? (THROWING the rider. OOPS) On Tuesday, August 19, 2014 1:26 PM, "mark ward nomad59@...   Prices Pricing is all fairly close, give take a dollar or 2. Where to SAVE PLUS. When I buy something from Fred, I order a new set of pads also, do to knowing 2 things.......... 1. Pads wear so, I WILL NEED THEM. 2. (but #1) When ever I have ANY ISSUE (KLR) I know I can E or call Fred and he is there for me/US! THEY ARE SMALL! SO,...If I feel pads will be getting even close to needing being changed by the end of a trip, (1000-5000) I toss that set into my tool kit.  (made that oops 1 time, getting to thin and had trouble chasing down a pair on a trip. 80 miles to a Kaw dealer that was not in the GPS as Kawasaki, was instead "john's (?) motorsports." and that was near a Major city. only way I found them, was by asking at a muffler shop.) SMALL AND CHEAPER & EASIER TO CHANGE THEN A NEW ROTOR. SAFER ALSO On Tuesday, August 19, 2014 12:24 PM, "JD justsayizzy@... Just talked to my Harley-riding brother.  He is selling his mint 07 KLR with just 6K miles to fund a Sportster for his daughter. Lots of farkle, do done, un-faded red in color. Will be up on Craigslist soon but would prefer to sell to a lister. PM me for Scott's contact information if interested in his bike. Also my son in Minneapolis is looking for a KLR in the MSP area to replace the black 07 stolen from him when he was attending school in Durham, NC. PM me with leads for him.
