adjuster bolt plug/cap

Martin.....my tire was only flat on one side (heh).
I have a brand new nifty tire bead thingy.....stay tuned.
The last time I checked my doohickey adjuster, the plug wouldn't go back in.....so let it sit for a few days and then it would. I do need to Oder a new cap though. Rubber seems old and brittle (like me).

While visiting the Black Hills, we adjusted Ron's do-hickey (in private of course). The plug would not go back no matter how we 'talked' to it.Replacement was the proper cure. cough.Criswell failed to mention the cure; order a new one...meanwhile, back at the ranch--rob one from the rev's spare KRL so we could keep changing Ron's flat tires on the trail. The plug; It was indeed swollen. No idea other than age for it becoming that way.revmaaatin. On Fri, Apr 18, 2014 at 10:14 AM, wrote: I have had that same problem with my plug (cap) Bogdan. A while ago time flies mine seems to have swelled. For several years it's been impossible to fit it into the opening all the way. It hangs in there, on an angle, looking like it's soon to fall out. When I first noticed this I was sure, the next time I looked, it would be gone. For some reason it's still there. Has any one else had this experience ? I guess I should just order a new one. Or .forget about it and worry about more important things like the planet or the deficit. BogdanOn Apr 19, 2014, at 3:36 PM, Martin Earl wrote:
