I didn't know Fred was carrying the dampers, and I don't know their details. But the ones I had years ago (not from Fred) just made the mirrors wiggle around more. By coincidence I switched to some aftermarket Napoleon mirrors (a gift after I broke a stock one off, don't ask how). They've worked well, with very little vibration, and I like the square shape. I've already ordered the Koubalink extenders. I'll report on them in case anyone's interested.

flushing front brakes
I have a 96 KLX650c, I know KLR site. But have been following yall for quite awhile and always have a lot of good info here, so here is my question.
Tried to change brake fluid in front barkes. Attached mighty vac, removed master cover, open bleed valve nothing comes out.
Disconected the mighty vac tube from bleed valve and removed bleed valve completly, brake fluids trickles out.
I look into the bleed valve and it has a blockage right at the tip ( part that is in caliper).
WTF, I poked it with a stiff wire, it is like it's supoed to be in there.
Acording to the manual it shouldn't be. Has anyone else found this or did the PO changed the bleed valve with a blocked one for some reason.........Thanks JIm
