Just finished doing a balancer shaft replacement (it broke near end with the impeller) drained anti freeze and it has no visible oil in it. Put it back together ?? Worry about it ? anyone got any ideas [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Anyone know of a company that makes Sidecars for the KLR? I'm Toying with the idea of a second KLR with a S.C., so I can take my grandson on camping trips with me. Also I know, that the day is coming sooner then I want (I REALY do NOT WANT IT) that my knees are going to be TOO MUCH of an issue to ride 2 wheels. (4-5 weeks ago, I climbed 2 fights of stairs, I was on crutch's the next 4 days.) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Claude Stanley at Freedom Sidecars in Middleburg Pa. did a great job of hanging a sidecar on my 09 KLR. If you are nearer the west coast I highly recommend Side Effects in Kamloops BC Canada. They built my Triumph Tiger outfit.

The best for KLR! Dauntless Motors www.dauntlessmotors.com I have had one since '05, on three different KLR s - I originally had two KLR s, so I could chose between solo, and hack, but the car attaches, and detaches in approx. 10 min, so I got rid of my solo KLR. Hope this helps. El Mur. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Dauntless Motors went bankrupt a number of years ago, just after I bought mine, and was reborn as DMC. The current url is http://www.dmcsidecars.com/ The owner rides a KLR himself at least he did the last time I talked to him. They make a quality product. Alan Henderson A13 Iowa single track at the moment
