cheap handlebar "tool" (?)

Good idea, Mark. I use reflective yellow "slap-on" type of bicycle leg bands for conspicuity. They're like the tape on a steel tape measure: curved so they stay straight for measuring, but then collapse and roll up. I just fed them around the passenger peg brackets and through holes in the aftermarket skid plate, and they stay by themselves. Good, cheap, low-maintenance safety item.

That is just too good! Thanks for posting. Packing for my third 1,000+ back road trip of the summer - starts today. I need to take along a switch for mad goats.
