I was searching Google, looking at all the different styles of Hobo Stoves, and was reminded of the "Penny" stove (2 pop cans & a Penny) that was talked about last winter. Is the penny needed because it hold the heat in the center LONGER to help the fuel vaporize? (Alum, dissipate it too quickly?) YA! I get REAL inquisitive and search out ALOT of strange things, and want to teach my grand son the simplest ways to do things like fishing with a stick found in the woods, and finding our own bait, ETC ETC. NO, It's not because I'm "that cheap", I also bought him a very Nice Rod & reel, ETC. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

nklr nvsc. who names these things, anyway?

I think its UK slang for Hudlum (sp?) or something close. Gotta admit it looks like a fun thing to play on..... :-) Dooden A15 Green Ape
